This is an unusual but fun HOG game that's different from any others I have played.
You are putting together themed yard sales from every room in your home (more like a mansion). For example, the first one you do is yard & garden. They put you in a room and it looks like a typical HOG scene, except there is no list. There is only a theme and you look through and find things that match that theme. Occasionally items are broken and require a second item to make them pristine again. For example, a garden hose which is missing the nozzle. You get to find both in the room. When you are all finished collecting all the themed items, you get to run the yard sale.
The yard sale is a cute idea. Along the right hand side of your screen you have physical descriptions and hints as to what that person might be looking for. Believe it or not, despite the number of people and smaller resolution, it's pretty easy to tell who they mean. It's a bit harder to direct them to the items they need as they are smaller and harder to see but keep in mind, they are all items you just hunted down in the HOG scene in the room before. You earn money/points for what you successfully manage to sell.
There are also occasional mini games. The ones I played during the demo (I ended up buying the game, by the way) give you suggestions for a themed decor of a room and you get to buy all the furnishings and decorate it. The better it fits what you were instructed to do, the more points you get. Your points then translate to clues you can use for the HOG scenes.
My only complaint with this game is that it has a feature where if you hover your mouse over items in the HOG scene, it will tell you what it is - well that's definitely a plus but what bugs me is it seems to take a long time for the name to show up. Wish they would speed that part up some - that's my only complaint.
