This is a great game! The premise is that you have a bunch of people who are stranded and need to find their way home again. It's a tribe type game but unlike Virtual Villagers, this game is everything you found yourself wishing for while playing VV. The game moves at a good speed. Your people learn skills and when a job is their favorite, they are extra speedy at getting it done. You marry people with complimentary astrological signs and have children. There are lots of special items to build and unlock. There are a few puzzles required but they are doable by all, nothing you'd have to resort to looking for cheats to accomplish. The game is quite addicting - you feel driven to complete new items and unlock additional wonders to build, just to see what that will lead to. A lot of the island is locked off until section by section, you accomplish what is needed to progress on. I really loved this game and hope they follow it up with a sequel.

Really fun game, very engaging. I had tried Virtual Villagers and OMG that was SLLLLOOOOWWWW. This game at least is at a good speed, especially if you have people do their favorite jobs. There is a good variety of work to be done and the puzzles are few but cute. It's hard to get to know any of the characters in the beginning but once you have some science points invested, they live much longer lives. One thing I wish was that the tombstones had some way to click on them and actually remember the person. Maybe even a little pic with their name if you clicked on it. I agree with others, it definitely is hard to grab people when they are in a group. This game was really fun.

This game actually sparked off an obsession with "tribe" type games. It was then that I realized just what a gem this game really is, in comparison to what's out there. As far as tribe games go, Gemini Lost is first rate.
