Player Reviews and Comments

Just finished the demo on this game. It certainly had lovely graphics and storyline. I felt confused and like I was being led around during most of it. Oh, I get the parts of what I'm supposed to build to interact with *every single object you come into contact with* but half the time I had real difficulty in finding the items. Many of them are so obscure, and add to the fact that you may have clicked on them a few minutes before but since you didn't need them then, they wouldn't have released. So you find yourself clicking the same items over and over out of desperation to find whatever it is that you're looking for. Most of the time the only reason I found something was because the game lit it up to give me a hint. There was one drawer that had an item that I needed but I could not see it - when I finally did, it was in plain view but so camouflaged I hadn't even noticed it. When the demo ended, I was stuck on the scene with the fisherman - I had given him the rod, the bucket, the tackle box, and I think something else. It was telling me (in bad English) that I had not given him everything. The only thing I had left was an empty tin can and a hammer. When I would hit the "hint" button, all it would do is tell me to leave the scene. I would leave the scene and do the hint and it would send me back to his area. I really felt more like this game led me around rather than me actually playing it. Maybe I don't play enough of this style game but I found it fairly difficult to play on my own without the game constantly nudging me in the right direction. For die hard adventurists, this probably provides a good challenge. If you're someone new to this type of game, you may want to consider my review. If not, then you're probably better off listening to the opinions of the others.
