ust played 45 minutes of the demo. I have mixed feelings on it, but decided to quit and don't plan on buying this one.
You are Cathy, running a food shop. As customers come in and order things like salad, pizza, various drinks, Pac Man is in the back room on a conveyor belt (maze). The items you need to fulfill your order are in that maze and you must direct Pac Man through to get them. As he picks them up, they will appear on Cathy's counter so she can serve the customer. I didn't play far enough to get to the part where ghosts are added to the maze but I can see that picking up the ingredients will become an adventure in fulfilling orders at the same time as avoiding the ghosts eventually. At the point that I quit, the conveyor belt (maze) had a feature to it where it would move the belt (maze) up off the screen partially or down off the screen partially. My Pac Man was never on the top or bottom when it disappeared but I would imagine it wouldn't be good if he was. Also, any ingredients that were there would disappear, messing up your order.
You get to buy various upgrades (speed bonus for Cathy or Pac Man, more plates for your counters, more ovens, and then the rest looked like cosmetic upgrades only). The mini game you play after a week is over is a match 3 game where you must clear the screen to reveal a picture in the background.
My initial thought when I saw this game was you must enjoy playing Pac Man to enjoy it. After playing the demo for 45 minutes, I believe that was a correct assessment. Unfortunately, I have never enjoyed playing Pac Man so this one is a no thanks for me.
