This is an excellent game! I just finished this over this weekend and am still having pangs to play again. You play Sara, a girl trying to help drum up profits on a ranch. Every other level or so, you get new items or props to use on your ranch. There are plenty of plants, animals, machines where you make various concoctions (gift baskets, ice cream, fruit roll ups), etc. At the beginning of each level, you are given goals of how much of each product you need to produce. You have to either produce products or bring in raw materials; sometimes you have to collect things (such as crabs off the beach).

The game takes place in weekly format. At the end of each week, you play 2 mini games - one is a farmer's market where you sell as many products as you can (some worth more than others) to bring in extra cash. The other is a fishing game (which is actually quite fun! and that's a lot coming from me as I'm usually not into action-type games). The graphics are really nice in the game. You can easily tell each item from the other. The game becomes challenging very quickly. You cannot progress if you do not have your order done in time. However, you can prepare for the next level if you have time left over on your current level. The game always shows you what you will need for the next day (next level).

At the end of each level, your farm is in whatever shape you left it - for better or worse. Certain things, like getting coconuts, can really be a challenge as the monkey seems kind of ornery. Other things, like getting crabs can only be done in real time. This game was tremendous fun, super addicting. I have tried Ranch Rush 1 also and while it is also a great game, Ranch Rush 2 improved so much on it that it's hard to go back. One of the most crucial improvements was the zoom feature so you can see your entire farm no matter how large it gets. If you love time management games, this is definitely a must-buy!
