Just finished the demo hour on this game. Game is fun, you are a shaman in charge of solving various problems for your tribe on an island. You basically run around making potions, gathering resources and erecting buildings, chasing away sharks & ghosts, etc. - all while your tribe gallivants all day - LOL, they work in the workmills huts you build for them. One thing I did like was that you can queue up the items that you are gathering. Also, they have sparklies around them which lets you locate them easily at night. What I didn't care for was the simplicity of the game, that you never really get to know any of your tribe, and that with each new level, you start your island over from scratch. The hour did go by quickly but I don't think I would pay full price for this game. I might consider it on sale. Another reason being that I wonder about the longevity of this game, I counted 17 levels that were visible to me and I've already burned through about 5 of them in the demo hour. Camera control in this game is exceptional, you can zoom in/out, rotate around the whole island, go side to side but I don't know that it's necessary as the game doesn't seem to have that kind of depth to really make it useful. Maybe the game gets much more complex in later levels? Graphics are okay, sort of purposely goofy - sort of like Wallace & Gromit). An enjoyable game if you have a few hours to kill.
